I live on the south side of Brisbane on a Suburb size block it’s not big enough for a cattery.
I am very happy living here with my husband Geoff, and my two teenage children, Nathan & Sarah. We all love cats. What made me become a Ragdoll breeder? I had heard about Ragdoll a few years ago, when I went to the Brisbane Exhibition. My daughter and I decided to have a look at the Whiskas tent, that's when we first came in contact with this beautiful cat, the Ragdoll. We both fell in love with the breed, but we already had few cats.
Then, a very sad thing happened in March 2006. My daughter’s cat of many years, which she grew up with, died, and it broke our heart. To help her through the grieving process, we started to look for a new kitten. Not knowing much about backyard breeders, we put a deposit down on a Norwegian Forest cat from a back yard breeder; but it died before we got it. My daughter was devastated. Then we saw in the newspaper someone selling Ragdoll kittens so we purchased one, a little girl we named Mystique. I took her to the vet's because she had had none of her needles and was not desexed. We found out she was probably not a purebred Ragdoll and that she was not in very good condition. She didn’t even know how to eat out of a cat bowl, but at least she was kitty litter train that was something. Now she is healthy happy & desexed kitten and the love of my daughter’s life.

I fell in love with this kitten so much that I had to know more about Ragdoll breed. The more I learnt, the more I fell in love with breed. I purchased my first Ragdoll in May of 2006. Blue Bell, a Blue mitted Ragdoll, I purchased from a lovely Ragdoll Breeder in Victoria. Blue Bell is the sugar in my coffee, she is such a sweety, I love her dearly. Her nature is so loving and placid. I was just going to use a stud service when she was ready to have babies, but I decided to get my own stud boy. So I started looking around, I really could not find anything I wanted, but the lovely lady I got Blue bell from had a little boy who was a few weeks older then my girl for sale. King Neptune, my boy he is a blue point. King Neptune is a beautiful boy, sweet nature, loves cuddles and loves to play. I love my cats they keep me amused for hours with their funny little things that they do or try to do. I think I am the luckiest person to own and love even one of these cats.
